Sneak peek…. the O family… June 23, 2010

This mama is one of my favorite friends, her kiddos are great friends with my boys and although I don’t know dad VERY well he’s one of those people that I just got along with right off the bat.  Mom asked me to do a family shoot for them because they were in definite need of updated family photos, especially with Dad being deployed for a year at the end of the summer.  I have been feeling quite nervous about this shoot because I wanted to do such a good job so that I’d be able to send Dad off with some awesome photos of his family.  I hope you all love them and that they’ll be a great reminder of home while you’re away, G.

I had an incredibly hard time figuring out what I wanted to show so I put together a slideshow.  :)   See it over on my FB fan page!

Sneak peek…. Miss H, one year old! April 21, 2010

I took this precious little girl’s newborn photos almost a year ago… it’s just amazing how time flies.  It’s always so neat to be able to see how much a baby has grown and changed in such a short period of time.  Miss H was as beautiful as the last time I saw her… and it was wonderful to be able to capture her with her beautiful blue eyes OPEN this time… wow, have you ever seen such big beautiful blue eyes??  Good luck saying “no” to those, mom and dad!  Forget it!  :)

It was so great to see you all a year later and see the adorable little family you’ve become.  I hope to see you again in the future!

Sweet Miss H, brand new…

Sneak peek…. Mr. T, one year old! April 19, 2010

Usually one year olds take a little bit to warm up but Mr. T was ready for me the second I walked in the door!  Happy, smiling… eager to check me and all my gear out.  He was such a doll and made my job very easy.  I always love working with families of 3… there’s so  much love and attention devoted to one little person.  This little man has such a great personality- outgoing and independent but still super cuddly (and very much a mama’s boy!)… it really shows that mom and dad must be doing a great job.  It was great getting to know you all… thanks for letting me come into your home and hopefully capture some memories for you!

Sneak peek…. Mr. H, 7 months… March 28, 2010

I just love taking photos during the first year of a baby’s life.  It’s amazing the changes that happen in such a short period of time.  Mr. H has sprouted into such a little DUDE… of course the styling by mama helped him look even more like a little man- LOVE IT!  The H man wasn’t his normal super smiley self due to some spring time sniffles but we got him to go along with some photo taking today for a short time.  Mamas of little boys take note, I think this outfit worked out very well… from the super handsome and sophisticated (cough, cough, grandma pleasing shots), moving onto a little more casual by removing the sweater and then onto a more modern take with the diaper cover and tie.  Super duper cute.

I can’t wait for his 1 year shoot… I have a feeling I better start training now, something tells me he’s going to be a fast little dude at that point!

Mr. H, back in August, new to the world…

And today…

Sneak peek…. a holiday family extravaganza December 6, 2009

It was a family affair today at the C family residence… sisters, cousins, kids, babies… we had it all! And we did it all with minimal crying and complaining! A true Christmas miracle! ;)

Lexie, thanks for the AWESOME bloomers… you really are a crafting genius!

Melissa and Paul, thanks for the vino… it shall be enjoyed shortly.

Great seeing you all, as usual.

Sneak peek…. Mr. G, 5 days old November 11, 2009

all of these perfect newborns are not really helping my husband’s argument to not have any more babies. i come home all gooey and happy, gushing about these perfect little beings. i think i’ll have to bring him with me to a newborn shoot one time, maybe then i can get him on my side. this little guy was just the sweetest… not one peep (or pee, thanks buddy!) the whole time. i probably could have stayed there all day but i didn’t want to push my luck and have him hate me for his 6 month photo shoot… geez, can you imagine how cute he’s going to be then with all that great hair???
mama, as usual, looked flippin’ awesome and once again i couldn’t bring myself to hate her because she’s happens to also be nice and fun and all together un-hateable. geez, some people have it all…

without futher ado… Prince G….

look at the little smile while he’s all cozied up next to mama… awww….

Sneak peek… The M Family…. November 9, 2009

i just love my clients that i get to work with on a fairly regular basis. watching their kids grow is so neat and it’s an honor to be a part of their lives. i just love these two princesses… they look so alike, yet so different in their coloring. such beautiful little girls! lots of giggles and funny noises today ending with some nudies of a roley poley baby… doesn’t get much better than that! :)

make sure you click on this one, mama to make it bigger- she’s doing the thumb thing. genetics are a funny thing, eh?

Sneak peek… The F family October 28, 2009

We had a lot standing in our way for this session… moving, weather, illness, you name it! I was thrilled today when the stars finally aligned and we could make it happen! Mom is SO much fun and has lots of style and great ideas. I was thrilled when she told me that we’d be able to borrow Dad’s firefighter uniform so little man Mr. D could pretend he’s super cool like Dad for a bit. It was nice because I always have tons of dress up stuff for little girlies (it’s my weakness) but not much in the way of boy stuff!
Thanks so much Mom and Dad for going with the flow even when it was getting a bit chaotic. I think the whole family deserves some twizzlers! :)
